Magical fantasy stamps

It's a magical world at Visible Image, with their new fantasy stamps and this card is created with the Fae hope set, forest background, rock and sentiment from the Myrddin set. I used copper embossing powder so I took the picture in a spot light to show the effect as best I could, as it does give it a magical look.

If you do one thing this bank holiday, you should visit the Visible Image website for some amazing stamps and magical design inspiration xxx

New stamps at Visible Image

Wow!
Have you seen the amazing new Fantasy Stamps released today by Visible Image Stamps.
They are Amazing there is nothing like this out there, they are so different from the wonderful Fae, the magical Myrddin and the amazing Orin, to the gorgeous background stamps in the forest background, runic text and mystical map, your imagination will run wild.

This was the first card I made using two of the new characters and the Forest background. the forest is created by using the verdigris Wow embossing powder and then stamping the fabulous believe in Magick sentiment on heat resistant acetate and embossing it, to over lay the forest.

This Myrddin from the Myrddin Magick set, I love the rock's

This is Fae from the Fae hope set, she also has some amazing wings which I have used in the Black and White card below.

This card is made with the sentiment and Wings from the Fae Hope set and the forest background.

I hope you visit the Visible Image website below to see how amazing these stamps truly are.

Max Rocks 13th birthday card

Hello this weeks post for visible image, is a card that I made for my son's 13th Birthday. It's hard to make something for boy's or men and teenage boy's are particularly hard to make anything for.
I used the Max Rocks set, ink splats, brick wall, retro dot's, motorbike and the happy birthday sentiment. The bike, chains and brick wall were created by clear embossing the stamps on glossy black card and then rubbing copper metallic shimmer powder over them. the silver splats and dot's are flutter glue and silver flakes. Ben loved his card but was more exited about the xbox one (no surprise there!)
I hope you like it xx

Teamies Challenge at Visible Image

There's something a little bit different going on this week for our visible image blog's.
The Visible Image design team have had a Teamies Choose week and we had a random draw to see which teamie would  pick stamps and colours for each other.
I was given a selection by the lovely Hazel Eaton that was quite a challenge to say the least. I had to use these stamps - Rose, Love sentiment, Brick wall and A Car !!!!!! and I could only use Two colours ?
I decided to do a Wedding card  (adding the lovely wedding set stamps) and use pink and black.
The Idea started as a word play with how to cross a brick wall, with the love and rose elements, where the saying the writing's on the wall popped into my head and this card is what happened.

The small white rose on the car bonnet was made by hand using florist ribbon, to replicate the ribbon's on a wedding car and the diamonds to replicate can's dragging behind it.

The inside of the card.
I hope you have a Fantastic Bank Holiday xx

Teenage Boy's Note book for Visible Image

Hi it's time for another fab post for Visible Image today, so I thought I would do something different today. I have made a teenage boy's note book using a plain black book from Ikea and some wow embossing powders to showcase a large range of Visible Image stamps. I have used
* Max Rules
* Brick Wall
* Ink Splats
* retro Dots
* Jake Skates
* Vintage Car
* Motorbike
As well as covering the front and back with cool metallic images I stamped skull's, skate board's and  you rock on random pages throughout the book's pages.
Creating hand made gift's for teenager's ( boy's in-particular) is extremely difficult, so when my 12 year old and his mate said it looked "cool" I was happily surprised! so I hope you give this a go.

All these cool stamps are available at the Visible Image website, just follow the links below.
Happy shopping! you wont be able to resist.

A pot of paper flowers

I have made a basket of paper flowers that can be given as a gift for any occasion by simply changing the message on the banner. I made the pot using the tim holtz rosette die to create 8 rosettes, I then trimmed them to make them slightly narrower as you go down so they look like a flower pot when stacked on top of each other.

Once i had the pot I made flowers using the tonic petal punch for the dark blue and crealies die for the light blue flowers. I cut green pearl paper leaves using the mini tattered leaf die by tim holtz and arranged them on the top of the pot.

To finish I made a banner and stamped the first line of the thank you verse in the Visible Image, more than words stamp set. I attached it to a cocktail stick and placed it within the flowers.

Thursday 27 February 2014

Here is another card I mad for the Visible Image Love Challenge. I used Emma, grunge flourish and the Immortal Love set, coloured with spectrum noir pen's. The flowers are sizzix thinlits die set flowers-intricate, with Britannia dies leaf die, and  nestabillities floral ovals die.

This is one of my entries into Visible Images February Love Challenge. I used their once upon a time and grunge flourish stamp's to decorate a black photo frame with a white photo mount. The roses are sizzix tim holtz flowers in various sizes, heart's are sizzix heart set #3 and the leaf is from Britannia Die's.

craft stamper entry

I made this card today so I could enter it in Craft Stampers - take it make it challenge 7
I have used Visible Image Stamps to create a repeat stamped background using the splat's and rose stamp. I have also used the Edward and Isabelle Character stamps and their Once upon a time set.
The ink bottle, pen and flower are sizzix die's.
They are coloured using spectrum noir pen's and Tim Holtz distress inks
I hope you like it!
